“RS is all about friends, family, racing on the water, brilliant socials… and this event will accumulate that perfectly.” Jon Partridge, RS Marine Group CEO
We’re celebrating 30 years of RS Sailing in the best way that we know how; a gathering of the RS family at a stunning location where old friends can reunite, new friends can be embraced and we commemorate the sport we love. Hosted by Hayling Island Sailing Club, this regatta promises to be our biggest party yet, with a host of activities, exciting racing and equally-matched socials off the water too.
The 30th Anniversary is a celebration of all classes within the RS family – it will be THE flagship multiclass event of 2024. Fleets invited to race include the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS500, RS600, RS700, RS800, 2000, RS Vareo, RS Aero, RS Feva, RS Tera, RS Venture, RS Elite and RS21. There will also be an RS Open adventure day for cruisers to participate in.
Full fleet racing will take place on Saturday 18th – Sunday 19th May for all fleets, with a Masters additional day on Friday 17th for the RS200, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800 and RS Vareo. The RS21 class will also have race days on the 17th-19th. For the RS500, the event will include their Nationals over the 17th-19th.
As for the party? Saturday evening is the BIG celebration with good food and a live band to dance the night away. On Friday night, there will be a masters dinner and heritage sailors will also be invited along to celebrate the last 30 years too.
The event will include the Noble Marine UK RS500 Nationals - 17-19 May
