RS600 UK National Championship

The UK’s flagship venue will host the first RS600 UK National Championship since the ‘resurgence’ of what many say is the original and best skiff ever launched. – it’s going to be a momentous event that you’ll want to say you were part of!

The RS600 fleet are going from strength to strength, with a tireless class committee and a whole bunch of the most enthusiastic and engaged sailors in the RS family – the responses on social media to our announcement that the 600s would be included was heartwarming – welcome RS600s!

The WPNSA site will be dressed up for the Regatta, with a vibrant Sailors' Village - think Cowes Week but with dinghy sailors and cheaper beer!   There will, of course, also be socials every night, with our usual mix of entertainment.  There will everything from the famous fancy dress party to the ever-popular black tie finale and everything in between to suit the diversity of our fleets. RS600 specific socials may well be on the menu too.

We join the party sailing from Thurs 23rd August to Sat 24th August, with most sailors expected to arrive a day or two early to catch up with friends, sort their boats and generally take in the atmosphere of this huge event.

When we are there, we will be sharing the site with the RS200s and RS500s and sharing ba course with the RS Vareos - a great opportunity to catch up with your mates across the fleets and make new friends both within and outside of the RS600 class.

The Sailing

The sailing at Weymouth is fabulous and varied.   We are currently finalising plans to make sure we deliver the best possible racing. 

Entry

Entry will open soon, via this Championship website. We encourage you to enter and book your accommodation as soon as we declare entry open. 

There will be a significant early entry discount for those who enter before the 1st June.
