RS100 European Championships

We are delighted that the RS100 European Championship, incorporating the RS100 UK National Championships, will be part of the massive RS Sailing Anniversary Games.

The WPNSA site will be dressed up for the Regatta, with a vibrant Sailors' Village - think Cowes Week but with dinghy sailors and cheaper beer!   There will, of course, also be socials every night, with our usual mix of entertainment.  But don’t worry about being railroaded by inflatable games and the like, there’ll also be quieter ‘meal-out’ options and the like especially for the RS100 fleet.

We join the party sailing from Thurs 16^th August to Sun 19^th August, with many sailors expected to arrive a day or two early to catch up with firends, sort their boats and generally take in the atmosphere of this huge event.  Weekend entry is available so if you can't take time off work you can still join the fun!

The turn-out for the RS100 UK Nationals 2017 was an impressive 45 boats, close to the all-time high of 47 at the RS Games in 2011, so we’re aiming to top 50 boats this time!

When we are there, we will be sharing the site with the RS300/700/800s and the RS400s will join us for the final 2 days.  

So a great opportunity to catch up with your mates across the fleets and make new friends both within and outside of the RS100 class.

The Sailing

The sailing is fabulous and varied.   The plan is to sail a mix of inside the harbour and outside in the bay. 

We will share a course with the RS300s, racing will be on windward/leeward courses, with 3 races planned per day

Entry

Entry is now open, via this Championship website. Mass early entry this year helped create a snowball effect, so we encourage you to enter as soon as you can. 

There is a £50 early entry discount for those who enter before the 1st July, you can enter now pay later (anytime before 1st July) to take advantcage of this rate and get your name on the list.

The entry fee is £120/€141.60 per boat for those entering (including making payment) before 1 July 2018.  The Youth entry (for helms aged 22 or under at the start of the championship) is £95/€112.10.  Enter now via this (Championship) website

Weekend entry is available.  The weekend entry fee is £63/€74.34 per boat for those entering (including making payment) before 1 July 2018.  After 1 July 2018 the weekend entry fee is £88 per boat.
