RS Eurocup - Your Views Please!
Dear RS Sailor,
Help Us Plan Your European Championships for 2022 and Beyond!
Thank you for continuing to support your Class Association and your sport, with your help we have been hard at work planning better-than-ever events, oven ready (sorry!) for when the restrictions lift and we can all get back to doing what we love in safety.
Entries for the 2021 European Championships in Torbole, Garda will open within the next week or so.
To help us plan for 2022 and beyond we would appreciate your input. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey which should launch when you click the link at the bottom of this page.
The survey has been designed to help us choose between 2 options that we have been offered for the 2022 European Championships/Eurocup.
A brief summary of the events:
Option 1: YC CARNAC (Brittany)
- Dates: Friday 3rd- Monday 6th June 2022.
- UK Bank holidays are Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June 2022. So you could do this with just 2 days off (Monday and Tuesday)
- French bank holiday is Monday 6th June, so the French sailors could do it with 2 days off (Thursday and Friday)
- Carnac is a 6 hour drive from Calais or 2 and half from St Malo ferry
- A familiar option for us. Great sailing and lots of good food and drink options in the classic Brittany town.

Option 2: CERCLE DE VOILE DE BORDEAUX- CARCANS MAUBUISSON (Bordeaux)
There is a possibility that we could run both events, if there is enough interest. Please remember that the RS Games will also run in 2022, from the end of July to the very beginning of August.
Please complete the survey by clicking the link below, to let us know your thoughts. If you have any other ideas or input about European events, feel free to email your International Class Secretary:
