Harken Rutland RS200 RS400 RS600 Open Cancelled
I’m sorry to inform you that the Harken Rutland RS400, RS200 and RS600 Open next weekend has been cancelled due to national lockdown.
Each entrant will receive a fast news email today explaining how they can either ask for a full refund or do nothing and their entry fee will be carried forward and set against their next payment to the RS Class Association
Rutland SC are really disappointed because this was to have been their first open meeting of 2020 and they had chosen that to be with a small trusted group of sailors = you! So I want to thank you on behalf of the RS Class Association for that!
Your RS Class Association is continuing to work hard with all of the super host clubs to offer you the best sailing possible within Covid guidelines. I’ll leave you with the wise words of John Fothergill who was to have been race officer this weekend: “I hope that the pandemic gets under control and that we will be able to run an RS Sprint event next year and enjoy some good sailing then.”
Keep safe and well
