We hope that you and yours are keeping well in these extraordinary times.
The RS Class Secretaries are at home with their families, like many of you, but we will be posting regular updates, news and anecdotes. Please share your stories with us. If you have not done so already, please like and follow our main RS Class Association facebook page, as we won't be rolling out each and every post to the individual class groups and pages.
As you will be aware many businesses, large and small, are facing difficult times. We ask you to help them by supporting our sponsors and fellow sailors' businesses where you can, we will share their facebook posts with you, but please like and share their pages too.
Our RS Class Association events have been cancelled/postponed, but we hope many of you will be able to get on the water at your home club, clubs nearby, or in buddy groups.
Alistair Dickson, Director of Sport Development at the RYA, who says: “While we have brought measures in to adhere to government advice on limiting the spread of coronavirus, it doesn’t mean that people can’t go sailing at all. In fact, getting out on the water can be a great way to look after your physical and mental health in these challenging times.”
