2015 RS600 UPDATE
Welcome to an exciting year of RS600 sailing fun!
Your 2015 events are on line here.
The first RS600 event of 2015 will be your Winter Championship held at Grafham Water SC 14-15 March. Stick the date in your diary. More details to follow. Please note that you need to be a Class Association member sailing a class compliant RS600 to race at an RS Class Association event. There will be a weigh in at registration. Please see the RS and RS600 rules for further details.
There is a new South West handicap series during March taking in Roadford Lake SC, Starcross YC and Wimbleball SC. More information here.
Let's build on last year's successful usage of the Intend to Race Button found at the bottom of your event page. By clicking the button you are not entering the event but merely letting your friends know that you are game enough to race. This should encourage them to challenge you and enter themselves. Clubs monitor the page to see how entries are going and to help them plan for a better event.
The position of RS600 Class Association Chair is still vacant. If you are interested please contact me so we can work together to reinvigorate the class.
Your boat builder and supplier is Ian Teasdale at the Boat Yard at Beer: www.theboatyardatbeer.com 01297 23434, email: info@theboatyardatbeer.com
Really looking forward to working for you so you can all have the most fun possible together with your RS600s in 2015!
Cheers
Clare
