RS Games 2011 - Entry and Accommodation Options

We hope you are all getting excited about the RS Games at WPNSA, from 15 - 26 August 2011.

The dates for your fleets are under 'Events' at http://www.rs-association.com/

Full details and entry to the RS500 Worlds and Nationals will be available from 9 February. You will be sent a link. Entry is open to all members of the UK or International Class Association.

Entry to the all other National Championships, and the RS700 Europeans will be available from 25 February. You will be sent a link. Entry is open to all members of the UK or International Class Association.

Below are some accommodation details for those who want to get organised. These details will also be on the entry websites.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

1. Boscawen House. Walking distance to club.
Once you have entered and paid for your Championship, you will be able to book viamembership@rs-association.com  45 beds, available from Sunday 14 - Saturday 27 Aug. Lots of different rooms. See http://www.boscawenhouse.co.uk/ for details.
Room costs -
self catering annex (up to 3 people) - £65/night
3-bed room - £50/night
4-bed room - £60/night
5-bed room - £75/night
6-bed room - £85/night
8-bed room - £110/night
This does not includes linen, although one-person linen bundles can be ordered for £3. Must be ordered with booking. No food, but self catering. Own cleaning. We will sell whole rooms and people can 'sub-let' - we can help with this if necessary.

2. RYA House, Portland. Walking distance to club.

Self catering facilities.Once you have entered and paid for your Championship, you will be able to book via membership@rs-association.com  19 twin and triple rooms are available for all or some of period Monday 15 - Saturday 27 Aug.

3. Camping.
There are loads of local campsites.A full list will be available on the RS Games website by end of February.

Un-official Campsite
All Saints School, Sunnyside Road, Wyke Regis, DT4 9BJ. 2 miles along a nice cycle path from club. Field with portaloos.
£10 per small tent per night
£15 per large tent (over 2 people), caravan or campervan
We will run a minibus to and from this campsite if there is enough interest.
