RS May Ball, 24 May 2003
All,
The RS May Ball is upon us!
The Ball is being held at the Explosion! Museum, Gosport, on Saturday 24th May. This is the weekend that the RS200, 400, 600 & Vareos are at Lee-on-Solent, and the RS300, 700 & 800s are at Stokes Bay for the RS Fat Face Racing Circuit event.
The theme is Titanic - what were you wearing when the boat went down? Perhaps you had been in the ballroom, on the bridge, in the boiler room, or in your pyjamas .....
The ticket price is £29.50. Please send cheques to the RS Association at 5, Haydens Court, Lymington, Hants, SO41 9EN.
Contact the RS Office on 01590 610273 / heatherc@rs-association.com to book your tickets now. The fantastic venue of the Grand Magazine at Explosion! is smaller and cosier than last year, so numbers are restricted. Book early to avoid disappointment.
The museum is in easy reach of both Stokes Bay & Lee-on-Solent Sailing Clubs. Call tourist information on 02392
52944 to get accommodation near the action.
If you want to book a table, they are for 8 - 10 people. Full tables must be booked before 2nd May 2003.
