RS Racing goes South East
7 RS Racing fleets comprising 238 competitors were London-bound for events at Queen Mary, Datchet and Papercourt for the next round of the Fat Face Racing Circuit on 16/17 April. The wind was cruel on Saturday, light and as stable as the Millenium Bridge, leading to real nail-biting racing. At Queen Mary, the 300s, 400s, 700s and K6s kept the Race Officer on his toes in the fickle breeze, whilst at Datchet the 600s and 800s looked forward to getting out on the wire on the Sunday, after enjoying an excellent social with a Hog roast and disco on Saturday. The Fevas, at Papercourt, saw a great turnout for their 1st Circuit event of 2005 – all practising hard for their Nationals in just 6 weeks.
