RS600 Sailors encourage new members
Another sailing year is coming to an end. We have seen some close
competition on the circuit and had lots of fun at the socials. A
blustery cold start at Rutland, glorious sunshine and wind at Filey and
mixed conditions over the rest of the year.
Welcome to all the new RS600 sailors who have joined this year, hope to
see you all on the circuit next year, its the best place to pick up tips
from the experienced sailors. Even if you think you'll be at the back
you won't be there for long.
We have held 2 training days during this year which have both been well
attended. Seeing new sailors to the RS600 gaining some valuable tips and
going on to achieve some good results on the circuit. Next year we are
planning more training days throughout the year. Look out for these
dates.
If you're thinking of getting into 600 sailing we have a Demo Boat, which
makes it more accessible and enables you to try before you buy, it's
helped persuade quite a few to move to the fleet. The Demo Boat is
presently at Farmoor Sailing Club, Oxford. Anyone wishing to have a go
