Outcome of RS600 Rule Change Vote

Outcome of Membership Vote - Changes to RS600 Class Rules The vote for the proposed rule change has just closed. 28 RS600 members voted, and the proposed rule change was agreed unanimously by all voters. There were some comments made about the proposal, and these will be answered separately. Rule 1.2.10 of the RS600 Appendix to the Class Rules will now be as follows – 1.2.10 Wire rigging, kicking strap and rig tension purchases with the following restrictions on construction and sizes:- 1.2.10.1 Shrouds and forestay not less than 3mm 1x19 stainless steel wire 1.2.10.2 Trapeze wires not less than 2.5mm diameter 1.2.10.3 Diamonds not less than 2.5mm 1x19 stainless steel wire 1.2.10.4 Kicker cascade not less than 2.5mm diameter. The revised rules are now in place, and are available under documents on the RS website, or from the RS Office. The RS600 Class Rules in the 2006 Yearbook will have this amendment included.
