Gul RS600 Nationals, Torquay, September 2007
I hope by now you have all received your entry form, NoR and some local tourist information for the Gul RS600 Nationals to be hosted by the Royal Torbay YC from 6-9 September. As many of you will have seen on the mailing list, the RTYC hosted a great Nationals for the RS700s back in June, and are looking forward to providing the same friendly and efficient service for you lot.
The changes to the slipway at RTYC makes the boat parking and launching as easy as can be, the racing is in ever-popular Torbay, and the club has a great subsidised bar and fabulous caterers. Included in your entry will be all racing, an evening trip to the local go-karts, an evening meal at the club sponsored by LDC, and Happy Hours. The town of Torquay is now a party capital - but all that is up to you!
Enter by 18th August to get all this for he bargain price of £69!
If anyone is searching for accommodation, I know of a lovely property available via Holiday Homes & Cottages. Langley Coach House is in Maidencombe, about 3 miles from the Yacht Club. It is expensive, but it was booked for someone in the K6s and they are about to lose their large deposit, so if you are interested, make me an offer. It has 3 double rooms, and cannot be booked by an all-male group. It can be viewed at http://www.swcottages.co.uk/property_details.cfm?prop=G273
Any queries please do give me a call. 01590 619273.
