Class Association
As some of you may have already heard on the grapevine, the RS Association is sad to announce that Fat Face will not be sponsoring the RS Racing Circuit and Eurocup in 2009. Fat Face have been supporting the RS Association since 2003, providing tens of thousands of pounds worth of vouchers for their lovely clothing and kit, as well as Team Kit which was sold to help finance the RS Association and support its members. I am sure that all RS Association members would like to join with the Executive Committee in thanking Fat Face for all their support.
Here are some words from our good friends at Fat Face,
‘A fond farewell from Fat Face...
“Fat Face has been supporting events across all of the RS classes for the past six years and we hope you’ll agree that it has been a fantastic relationship. We’ve really enjoyed sponsoring the RS events and we hope that it’s benefited you as sailors over the years. However, we now feel that the time has come to move on and spread the love to other areas of the sailing world.
“Fat Face recognises that sailing is an incredible sport and believes that more people should have the opportunity to give it a go or develop their existing experience and skills. Consequently we’re now looking to move our investment into sailing at a more grass roots level. This will benefit new areas of sailing and the sport as a whole and hopefully you’ll see some of the people who receive our support coming through into your own classes and racing circuits in the future!

We are delighted to confirm that Gul International are continuing their relationship with the RS Association, beginning their 11th year of sponsorship of RS Championships with the RS200/700/800 Winter Championships this weekend!
