Ben Schooling's sails have been stolen out of RS800 1121 from Datchet Water SC. It happened sometime between Sunday 24th after the Inlands at Queen Mary and Friday 12th Nov when George picked the boat up to come up to Rutland.
Three jibs and two mains were taken in total - the jibs are marked up with 2007, 2008 & 2009 on the clew and the mains will obviously have 1121 on them unless removed. Ben has put mylar reinforcement tape over the sections that rub against the top spreaders and have cut the inhaul straps off both the mains.
Ben has notified DWSC and Thames Valley Police as per request of Noble Marine but please could everyone please keep an eye out at local sailing clubs or online. As it stands at the moment we don’t think there are any 800 sails advertised anywhere for sale so if anything pops up give Ben a call on 07825 009 111
